The story of a young Glaswegian killed in a Tel Aviv bus bombing almost 10 years ago was told to British gap year students in Israel.
Youth leader Yoni Jesner was 19 when he died. One of his kidneys was used to save the life of a Palestinian girl.
Speakers at the event - organised by the Yoni Jesner Foundation, Bnei Akiva and Stand With Us Israel - were Yoni's mother Marsha Gladstone and former Jerusalem Post editor David Horovitz, who reflected on life in Israel at the time.
