 Members of the successful Maccabi Great Britain squad visted the Dohany Street (Great)Synagogue in Budapest prior to taking part in the European Maccabi Games, and paid their respects to Holocaust victims at the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial featuring a metallic sculpture of a ‘weeping willow’ bearing inscriptions of names of Jews who perished in the Shoah
