Oakwood boss Ian Tussie praised his team after they finished their first season in the JC MSFL in style, with a 4-1 demolition of Loughton Orient earning them the title.

Vic Librae, Ben Levy, Ric Blank and Dan Rose helped the Oaks seal their 17th victory of a memorable campaign. Barry Green grabbed the consolation for Loughton.

"We weren't at our best but we were good enough to win and it was a fitting end to a fantastic season," Tussie told JC Sport.

"We've been the best team all season, rock solid defensively, full of ruach and fully deserving of our title.

"The Prosecco will flow this summer and rightly so. Maybe upgrade to cava...say what? I'm delighted and so are the team. I asked Oren Hury how he feels and he said he's "high as a kite" at our promotion.

"I'd like to congratulate FC Team on their promotion too and hope the league see fit and promote AC Mill Hill too."

Loughton boss Dan Curtis told JC Sport: "I was pleased with how we started the game and we looked the better of the sides.

"We were unlucky not to get our noses in front which might of made it a different game.

"Credit to Oakwood they took the lead and never looked like throwing it away. Congratulations to them on winning the title."
