Maccabi GB have drawn up the list of nominees for their Sports Awards on March 14 in London.

Defending champion Joe Jacobson, who won the Senior award in 2008, has been shortlisted again, as has triathlete Lara Nyman, winner of the JC Junior accolade. Here are the others:

Senior

● Daniel Field, 21 (Blind cricket) Made his debut for England against Sri Lanka in 2006. In 2008 he achieved his highest score of 126 not out in Australia. Daniel holds the record for most England caps for a wicketkeeper, currently 21.

● Dean Furman, 21 (Football) Since signing for Oldham in 2009, central midfielder Dean has made 21 appearances. In season 2008/09, he won the Most Consistent Player of the Year award and the Stuart Hardy Memorial Trophy whilst on loan at Bradford City. Dean was called up to the South African squad in 2008.

● Daniel Grant, 24 (Handball) Ranked no.1 singles player and no.1 doubles player in the UK, Daniel has been a key member of England's team since it was established three and a half years ago. He reached the semi-finals of the singles and won the doubles at the World Handball Championships in Orgeon.

● Daniel Goldstone, 24 (Boxing)
He went from an unknown to become the ABU Super Light-Welterweight champion. He debuted in May 2009 and is unbeaten. He will be defending his title in April.

● Oliver Ziff, 21 (Triathlon) Won gold in the 18th Maccabiah Games Triathlon. He also won the University Championships Triathlon in 2009 and the International World Age Group Championships in 2009.

● Joe Jacobson, 23 (Football) The current holder of this award plays for Oldham Athletic but has missed a large chunk of the season due to injury. He has played 100 first team games, scoring two goals and captaining the most successful Welsh Under 21 team in history.

● Sam Little, 34 (Golf) A member of the PGA European Tour. He finished 111th in the In 2009 Order of Merit. He is currently ranked 485th in the world.

● Josh Pistol, 19 (Sailing) Qualified for the 420 British World Sailing Team, he also represented Great Britain in the Riva Delgrada in Italy in the summer.

Junior

● Joshua Paris, 13 (Tennis) Already ranked in the top five UK players, he is No. 30 in Europe. Joshua represents Great Britain at both national and international levels. .

● Richard Goodman, 16 (Track)
Won gold at the UK School Games 3000m in Cardiff, the England Schools U17 Cross Country title and silver at the National Cross Country Championships.

● Zac Zilesnick, 15 (Table Tennis)

Ranked No. 1 in the Cadet age group and No. 5 for under 18s in England. In the past two years he has won the Under 15 national and Under 18 doubles. He is now ranked 39 in senior category and has now entered the world rankings list.

● Yaron Ash, 14 (Swimming)

He has set numerous club records in both Hertsmere Flyers and Barnet Copthall and has consistently maintained a national ranking within the top 10 for his age group.

● Mark Brenner, 14 (Golf) He started playing aged two and now plays off an official handicap of 6.8 but to a handicap of two. He reached the British Junior Golf Grand final at Celtic Manor and qualified for the European Junior Championships.

● Elise Lazarus, 9 (Squash) Elise is the reigning Essex Under 13 champion. She represents the Eastern region in national and regional matches. Elise has won both the Suffolk Open and the Middlesex Open among other achievements.

● Daniel Poleschuk, 14 (Squash)

Currently on a scholarship at Millfield School and based in the UK, he was top-ranked in Europe at the Under 13 age group and is now starting to climb the rankings in the Under 15s.

● Mark Kuber, 18 (Golf) Won the 2009 Northwood Junior Open by two shots with a total of 150 strokes over 36 holes and he finished runner-up in the Ashford Manor junior open in 2008 and 2009. Mark has represented Middlesex in competitive county matches at both Under 18 and Under 21 level over the past couple of years in national events.

● Lara Nyman, 17 (Triathlon) Lara won this award in 2008 and has continued to go from strength to strength. Her biggest achievement to date is qualifying to compete for Team Great Britain at the Under 20 European Sprint Triathlon Championships in 2009.
