Jewish Legacy is the only Jewish charity which has, as its sole aim, the promotion of “post lifetime” donations.
Of course, Jewish Legacy encourages lifetime donations, but legacy income is another, often overlooked way, for the community to support the charities they care about.
According to the most recent statistics we have on the topic, although 75 per cent of the Jewish community give to Jewish causes during their lifetime, only one in four leaves a gift in their will to charity.
Working with our nearly 40 Jewish charity partners, Jewish Legacy strives to encourage more people to leave gifts in their wills, by highlighting how those gifts will enable the charities to continue improving lives and making a difference to the world.
Leaving gifts in wills couldn’t be made easier by any of the solicitors working with Jewish Legacy, who are continuing to offer discounted wills throughout the year and free will writing for simple wills over the month of November.
