David Amess MP, Southend Mayor Councillor Gwen Horrigan and six local councillors visited Southend and Westcliff Jewish Community Centre, Shebson Lodge sheltered accommodation in Cobham Road and Raymond House, the charity's care home in Clifton Terrace. Jewish Care service manager Robin Jacobs said: "It was a successful morning and an eye-opener for the councillors, who were supportive of our work. We wanted them to have a better understanding of what Jewish Care does in Southend."
