Mischief Theatre is the company behind the Goes Wrong plays. First there was The Play That Goes Wrong and then there was Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Both went so right, the comedies breathed life into the long-dead form of British farce which has not been a force in theatre since Michael Frayn's 1980s meta-farce Noises Off. This one breaks away from the Goes Wrong format. There's no British am dram company murdering the whodunit genre. Instead, we have a motley group of small-time, hapless American crooks.

The creators have said they were inspired by 1950s American caper movies.

But perhaps better to think of the Airplane! spoof with its mix of slapstick and word-play. This one is just as funny, which is to say, very funny indeed.
