Radiohead to play Israeli gig in July
February 7, 2017 12:47Radiohead are to play a concert in Israel this summer.
The Grammy-winning band, who have sold 30 million albums around the world, are booked to play at Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park venue in July.
A date and ticket prices for the gig have yet to be announced.
It is the first time the band, who released their last album A Moon Shaped Pool in 2016, have performed in Israel since 2000.
An official announcement of the show is expected in the coming days, detailing ticket prices and availability.
Guitarist Jonny Greenwood has previously collaborated with Israeli composer Shye Ben-Tzur on an Indian music inspired album called Junun.
Greenwood is also married to to Israeli born artists Sharona Katan.
Fronted by singer Thom Yorke, Radiohead's early Creep single was a massive smash in Israel and was also featured in a commercial there.
