Distinguished feminist academic Alice Shalvi has inspired her husband Moshe Shalvi, an editor on the Encyclopaedia Judaica, to launch the Encyclopaedia of Jewish Women, edited by Paula Hyman and Dalia Ofer, and published jointly by the Jewish Women’s Archive in the US and Shalvi Publishing in Israel. It is available as a CD, and information can be found on the Jewish Publication Society of America website (jewishpub.org).
