There is nothing - nothing - like the smell and taste of a white truffle. I can't imagine any greater treat then eating at one of these restaurants. Mrs P and I splurged on Tuesday at Murano for a special meal, and had the truffle. I had tagliatelli with truffle emulsion and truffle shavings, and it was heavenly.
