Many thanks to those of you who have emailed to congratulate me on my new position, as Editor of the Jewish Chronicle.
It might be a cliche to say that I am honoured - and thrilled - to be entrusted with the world's oldest and most infuential Jewish newspaper, but that's because it's true. I am in the fortunate position of inheriting a success, and will be able to build on the terrific foundations laid by the current editor, David Rowan, and the superb JC team.
I'll have more to say about the future of this blog soon.
