Today is my first day at the JC. It's a thrilling but daunting prospect being given responsibility for such a wonderful newspaper, and I hope that I serve the paper - and, of course, its readers - well. Over the next few months you'll notice some changes - some big, some less so - but all, I hope, improvements.
I'll be updating this blog regularly. Readers of my previous blog at the Spectator will notice that the style is a bit different, but I hope that you'll still find it interesting and stimulating, I know you won't agree with everything you read here, but that's half the point of a good blog, which I hope you'll consider this to be.
