Melbourne Cup and Major Miller

A bumper winner, he hasn't run since encountering a problem the season before last. He has done well physically and looks a novice chaser in the making.I can't wait for him to run. It should be some time within the next few weeks. Fingers crossed...

I've written about one aspect of Flemington Racecourse below. The course itself is wonderful, with the most amazing backdrop, as you can glimpse in my picture taken yesterday. Below it is another of the Melbourne Cup field coming in front of the stands on their way ut before the final circuit.
