Another week, another shechita story.
Last week it was UKIP, The Times and the BVA. Now it’s another parliamentary debate, only a few months after the last. For the moment, these are fringe activities. But there does seem to be momentum behind the campaigners’ efforts. Both main party leaders, and both main parties, are committed to protecting shechita. But politics is never set in stone.
