So they're abolishing cheques in 2018.
That's why we need a Bar Mitzvah Association. It would lobby now to save the foundation of the Bar Mitzvah - the cheque. It would mount campaigns across the airwaves. It would take the Payments Council to judicial review for its decision. It would urge the Prime Minister to act.
But in its absence, I guess from 2018 it'll be cards stuffed with tenners, rather than a neat cheque.
I'm waiting for the first 13 year old to be done for money laundering.
