Bobby Abrams kept South Manchester Sports Club 1st title hopes alive with a dramatic second half strike.

Abrams got the only goal of the game with 15 minutes remaining as South saw off rivals Miam Miam in a tussle between the top two in Manchester Accountants League.

South had to win to have any chance of successfully defending their league crown and Abrams ensured they remained in the hunt.

Leeds Maccabi 1st booked their place in the semi final of the Alliance Challenge Cup after thrashing New Unicorn Reserves 6-2.
