Students looking to build professional contacts and gain workplace experience were given a helping hand by a top businessman at a Jewish careers event in London this week.
The networking evening, organised by TrainE-TraidE, the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) and Chaplaincy, included a talk by Nick Leslau, chairman of the Prestbury Group.
Mr Leslau advised students to be creative and use their initiative so that they stood out in the competitive graduate recruitment process.
"In the current market it is essential that students are able to skillfully sell themselves in an interview."
