West Wing actor Richard Schiff has revealed he tested positive for Covid-19 on election day.
Mr Schiff, 65, played communications director Toby Ziegler in Aaron Sorkin’s fictionalised White House series. In a tweet on Tuesday evening, he said his wife, the actress Sheila Kelley, also received a positive result.
“This is tough. We are determined to find a way to health again. We root for everyone out there who are struggling with this thing. Love from here,” the Jewish actor wrote.
He received an outpouring of supportive messages, including from the comedian David Baddiel.
