Third terror attack at Gush Etzion junction

articlemain

A 19-year-old man has been wounded in another terrorist attack at a junction in the West Bank.

The victim was stabbed in the shoulder by a female terrorist at the Gush Etzion intersection this morning. His injuries were minor and he did not need to be hospitalised.

Security forces on site shot the attacker, who according to Tazpit News Agency was found to have another knife hidden on her person.

Eyal Zahavi, a Magen David Adom paramedic who was at the scene, told Tazpit that the 20-year-old terrorist “had gunshot wounds all along her upper body, and MDA together with army paramedics treated her at the site”.

He added: “She was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital for further treatment at the intensive care unit.”

The junction outside Alon Shvut was the site of another stabbing attack just a few weeks ago, which left a woman dead and two men wounded.

It was also where three teenagers, Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frenkel, were kidnapped in June, an act which precipitated the recent military action in Gaza.
