Terrorists 'dressed as Orthodox Jews' in Tel Aviv shooting rampage

articlemain

At least four people have been killed and four others wounded in two shootings in Tel Aviv.

The attacks took place on Wednesday evening in Sarona Market and on Ha’arba’a Street, in the centre of the city. One of those wounded was in a critical condition.

Micky Rosenfeld, a spokesman for the Israeli Police, wrote on Twitter: "3 people killed in shooting attack. No further terrorists in the area. 2 terrorists captured".

He had earlier reported that the area was closed off following the attacks, with shops and the food mall evacuated.

The terrorists were from Hebron, reports have indicated.

An eyewitness told Israeli media that the attackers at Sarona Market were dressed as strictly Orthodox Jews, while another said that the other shooting took place at the Max Brenner chocolate restaurant.
