A former associate of former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani has accused him of making derogatory remarks about Jewish people and being sexually aggressive to her.
Noelle Dunphy is suing the former New York mayor in state court in a $10 million lawsuit, accusing him of sexual abuse. But lawyers for the former New York mayor said he "vehemently and completely denies the allegations”.
However, on Tuesday, Dunphy’s lawyers released several audio recordings of encounters she had with Giuliani.
In one 2019 recording, a transcript submitted as part of the lawsuit seen by the JC, Giuliani allegedly claimed Jewish men had small penises compared to Italians.
According to the transcript, he said: “The way natural selection works. Jewish men have small cocks because they can't use them after they get married.
“Whereas the Italian men use them all their lives, so they get bigger.”
It comes after Giuliani allegedly said that Jewish people need to "get over the Passover."
A transcript from a conversation in April 2019, said: “Jews. They want to go through that freaking Passover all the time.
“Man, oh, man. Get over the Passover. It was like 3,000 years ago. Okay, the Red Sea parted. Big deal. Not the first time that happened.”
Dunphy started working for Giuliani in January 2019 as his director of business development on a salary of $1 million a year.
She alleged in the suit that Giuliani began abusing her almost immediately after she started working for him.
According to the lawsuit, the former personal lawyer for Donald Trump is accused of “abuses of power, wide-ranging sexual assault and harassment, wage theft and other misconduct” including “alcohol-drenched rants that included sexist, racist and antisemitic remarks”.
Several transcripts also appear to show the former New York mayor making highly sexually charged remarks to Dunphy.
According to one from March 4, 2019, Giuliani told Dunphy: “I want to own you, officially.”
Later on in the year he allegedly made comments about Dunphy's breasts saying: “Come here, big tits. Give them to me.
“I want to claim my tits.”
On August 18, 2019, he allegedly said that he was aroused by her, saying that he couldn't think about her at all without becoming sexually excited.
"Even, even if I think about how smart you are, I'll get hard. I'd never think about a girl being smart.
“If you told me a girl was smart, I would often think she's not attractive."
Giuliani served two terms as mayor of New York for eight years between 1994 and 2001. He earned national acclaim for leading the US financial capital in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the US by Al-Qaeda.
However, in recent years, his reputation has plummeted. This is in large part due to his promotion of the conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.
In a statement released at the time the suit was filed last in May, a spokesperson for Giuliani said he "vehemently and completely denies the allegations in the complaint and plans to thoroughly defend against these allegations."
They added: "This is pure harassment and an attempt at extortion.”
