A wave of hate crimes against Jews in New York has continued, with three men arrested after a 51-year old Orthodox man was hospitalised last week following a “vicious assault” in Crown Heights.

Navar Walters, 18, Teshon Bannister, 20, and Joshua Peters, 20, were arrested by the NYPD on Thursday and charged with a hate crime for their suspected role in the assault, which took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

CCTV footage of the incident published by the Crown Heights branch of the Shomrim Orthodox security patrol shows three men pushing a strictly orthodox Jew to the ground, and then punching and kicking him.
