A far-right website is trying to orchestrate an armed march through a town in the American state of Montana, specifically targeting “Jews and Jewish businesses”.

Andrew Anglin, the founder of the Neo-Nazi Daily Stormer hate-site, has called for the march in response to the alleged harassment of a resident there who is the mother of one of America’s most notorious white supremacists.

The town of Whitefish is home to Sherry Spencer, the mother of Richard Spencer, who is the head of the National Policy Institute, a white nationalist think tank. He gained notoriety after the US election, when footage of a rally showed him ending a speech with the words “hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory”. His audience responded with Nazi salutes.

Mrs Spencer has claimed she has been made to suffer because of her son’s views, specifically singling out a group called Love Lives Here for having supposedly targeted her family. The Daily Stormer site promptly listed the home addresses and phone numbers of the group, encouraging white supremacists to “make them feel the kind of pressure they are making us feel.”
