Michael Douglas took home the award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Picture at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles last night.
The 69-year-old, who won for his portrayal of Liberace in the HBO biopic "Behind the Candelabra", paid tribute to his co-star Matt Damon, telling him: "The reason you’re not up here is because I had more sequins."
Mr Douglas also took the opportunity to thank his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones – with whom he has recently reconciled after a separation - and his three children.
He ended his speech: "To Catherine, Carys, Cameron and Dylan – all my love!"
