Legendary comic Joan Rivers' Upper East Side apartment in New York was put up for sale this week.
Ms Rivers, who died in September at age 81, threw lavish parties in the flat, honed her jokes there and even hired a voodoo priestess from New Orleans to evict a ghost.
The apartment, which measures 5,000 sq ft, has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, five fireplaces and a 23-ft-high sky-blue ceiling painted with clouds and doves.
“It’s what Marie Antoinette would have done if she had money,” Ms Rivers once joked.
Estate agent Leighton Candler told the New York Post: “When you walk through the apartment, you really experience the grand nature of the rooms. This is a very grown up apartment. It’s for someone who wants to entertain lavishly.”
