The Jewish children and the adult killed in the Toulouse Jewish school shooting this morning have been named.

The victims were named as teacher Yonatan Sandler, 30, with his two sons Aryeh, three, and Gavriel, six, and Miriam Montenago, aged eight, daughter of the school's principal Rabbi Yaakov Monsonego. Mr Sandler is said to be a Israeli, a former resident of Kiryat Yovel, Jerusalem.

Witness Franck Califa told Le Monde: "For now, I have only tears. I'm in shock. I do not think things like that can happen. I held one of the victims in my arms."

City Prosecutor Michel Valet said a 30-year-old man, his two sons, aged three and six, and another child aged between eight and 10, were killed. A 17-year-old was also seriously injured.
