Israeli actor and Gal Gadot has organised a screening of the graphic footage collected from the October 7 Hamas attacks for an audience of prominent Hollywood figures in Los Angeles and New York.

The event will show the full 47 minutes of uncensored footage under the title Bearing Witness to the October 7th Massacre.

The harrowing footage, collected by the IDF, was shown to a select group of journalists in Israel on 23 October. Another screening took place for UK journalists in London last week.

The IDF previously had no intention of circulating the footage among the public, out of respect for the victims and their families, it is understood.

However, misinformation and propaganda attempting to dilute or discredit the IDF’s reports on the brutal actions of Hamas terrorists on October 7 compelled Israeli leaders to release the footage.

Around 120 prominent figures in Hollywood been invited to attend the initial screening organised by Gadot though more screenings may be scheduled, according to YNet.

No filming or phone use will be permitted during the screening.

Gadot, who is best known for playing Wonder Woman in the eponymous 2017 film, has been vocal on social media about her support for Israel in the wake of the October 7 Hamas attacks.

She has posted daily appeals to release the Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas alongside photos videos of the hostages and their families.
