Young French Jews are now taking more Krav Maga lessons in a bid to protect themselves against the spike in antisemitism.

According to a report in Arutz Sheva, last week French teenagers went to Israel to partake in a special martial arts defence programme in Netanya called ‘Magen’.

The defence programme is geared to protecting French Jewish schools and synagogues.

There was a 91 per cent increase in antisemitic attacks in the first half of this year in France, according to the communal security group SPCJ (Protection of the Jewish community in France).
