Breaking Bad star Mark Margolis has undergone emergency brain surgery.
The 77-year- old Jewish actor is thought to have fallen on set whilst filming the next series of Better Call Saul, the prequel to AMC's acclaimed Breaking Bad.
Mr Margolis was taken to hospital following the fall. Representatives for the actor told RadarOnline that “doctors discovered minor brain swelling and performed a routine procedure to reduce it”.
Mr Margolis, who is known for his Emmy-nominated performance as Don Héctor "Tio" Salamanca in Breaking Bad, has been described by Vince Gilligan, the creator of the series, as "one of the finest actors alive”.
Representatives say that his condition could affect upcoming storylines on Better Call Saul.
