Casino magnate Sheldon Adelson has handed $500,000 to a superPAC in support of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
Rabbi Boteach is the Republican candidate in New Jersey’s 9th Congressional District.
Mr Adelson gave Rabbi Boteach the same amount earlier this year. Mr Adelson has given $10 million to a superPAC supporting Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, and earlier in the campaign put $20 million towards Newt Gingrich’s GOP primary bid.
