UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell is facing allegations of antisemitism following a podcast appearance in which he praised Adolf Hitler.
The 30-year-old mixed martial artist called the Nazi leader a “good guy” who was “purifying” Germany by expelling “greedy Jews”.
During the first episode of his new podcast, Arkansanity, Mitchell also denied the Holocaust and suggested that Hitler had good intentions before becoming addicted to methamphetamine.
"I honestly think that Hitler was a good guy based on my own research – not my public education, indoctrination. I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I’d go fishing with," Mitchell said.
He added: “He fought for his country, he wanted to purify it by kicking out the greedy Jews that were destroying his country and turning them [Germans] all into gays.
"They were gaying out the kids, they were queering out the women, they were queering out the dudes.
"You know the books that everybody makes fun of Hitler burning? You know what the books was? [sic.] Queer books...Hitler didn’t want a bunch of queers destroying his nation, they can’t produce children.”
At other times during the podcast, Mitchell also blamed Jews for pre-war hyperinflation in Germany, said that the Holocaust “ain’t real [sic.]” and said that the concentration camps were “work camps” were deaths occurred due to starvation rather than planned extermination.
He then referenced allegations that Elon Musk made a Nazi salute at President Trump’s recent inauguration, saying: “If anything Elon Musk would be against Hitler because Hitler was for freedom and Elon Musk is for control.”

The comments have sparked outrage among Jewish groups and MMA fans.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism said: “These comments from UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell are repugnant.
“It also appears that he doesn’t know his history. Hitler didn’t ‘kick out’ the Jews: he slaughtered them.
“Maybe Mr Mitchell has been kicked in the head a few too many times to know the difference.”
UFC president Dana White also responded to Mitchell's comments in a press conference on Thursday, calling them “ignorant” and “beyond disgusting.”
"I’ve heard a lot of dumb and ignorant s*** in my day, but this one is probably the worst," White said. "When you talk about Hitler, he was responsible for the death of six million Jews and tried to completely eliminate a race of people. Anyone who even tries to take an opposing position is a moron."
"Let’s not forget this is a guy who took a drill through his nut sack then had to reverse it,” White added, referring to a gruesome power tool-related injury Mitchell suffered in 2018. “That’s the level of stupid that we’re talking about here."
However, White confirmed that the UFC would not take any disciplinary action against Mitchell, citing the organisation’s free speech policies.
"That’s the problem with the internet and social media," White added. "You provide a platform for a lot of dumb and ignorant people."
The JC has contacted Mitchell’s management for comment.
