A 16-year-old Jewish girl was harassed in a New Jersey mall for wearing an IDF sweatshirt by a pro-Palestinian protester who called her a “whore”.
The teenager was with her parents and 12-year-old sibling at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford when the woman pushed her and screamed at her.
The attacker shouted “you're a whore, your mother is a whore, your grandmother is a whore" and yelled "free Palestine," as she followed the family.
A man she was with also berated the family.
The girl’s father intervenes to push her away, saying “leave her alone”. Her mother says “leave my child alone”.
The protester then slapped the mother’s phone out of her hand.
The mall has a number of kosher restaurants and is popular with the local Jewish community.
