Carmel Gat, 40, an occupational therapist from Tel Aviv, was killed by Hamas after 11 months in captivity.

A campaign is projecting images of hostages killed by Hamas onto giant screens in Times Square in New York.

It comes after the murder of six hostages in Gaza.

IDF soldiers recovered the bodies of six murdered hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Alex Lobanov, Carmel Gat, and Almog Sarusi.

Following their murders protesters displayed support for the terror group during an anti-Israel demonstration in the city.

One pro-Palestinian protester was seen in footage telling a Jewish family walking home in New York City that Hersh Goldberg-Polin 'deserved' to die.

A Jewish father walking home approached a car of protesters and said to occupants of the car: 'An American man was murdered yesterday by Hamas terrorists.'

The man behind the wheel responded: “He deserved it.”

Hersh was a 23-year-old American man who was kidnapped during the October 7 attack and was held captive for 11 months.

On the same day his family held his funeral pro-Palestine protesters held a rally in New York.

Other footage from the protest saw protestors waving Hamas flags on the streets of New York.

White House communications spokesman Andrew Bates said President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris condemn Hamas and "any individual associating with the repugnant terrorist organization.

“As President Biden and Vice President Harris have said, there is absolutely no place in America for the poison of antisemitism – none.

“They and the entire Biden-Harris Administration condemn any individual associating with the repugnant terrorist organization Hamas.”
