Following the release of a trailer for Gadot’s new film, Snow White, comments on social media have called for a boycott of the “evil Zionist” actress

Gal Gadot has faced a wave of antisemitic abuse online, after the release of the trailer for her new film, a live-action remake of Snow White.
Comments on social media have called for Disney to “reshoot the evil Zionist Gal Gadot” and said “Gal Gadot will treat Snow White the same way her Zionist counterparts treat Palestinians”.
Calls have also gone out for the film to be boycotted. “Don’t support this movie,” one commenter said. Another posted: “The Zionist soldier baby-killer Gal Gadot is the perfect casting for the Evil Queen. Boycott this movie and any movie Gal Gadot takes part in”.
Gal Gadot was born in Petah Tikva and has been the target of antisemitic abuse since she starred in Wonder Woman in 2017.

The actress, who was the first Israeli actor to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been staunch in her support of Israel. Speaking at Israel’s Consulate in Los Angeles for Israel’s 75th anniversary, Gadot celebrated Israel as her “heart and home”. “We all here are deeply proud of our Jewish homeland,” she said. “This celebration is a testament to our unity, our strength”.
Since the October 7 attacks, Gadot has also been active in advocating for Israeli women in Hollywood, organising a screening of the graphic footage collected from the Hamas attacks for an audience of prominent Hollywood figures.

The actress said the world had “failed the women of October 7”. “I am beseeching all those who have done so much for women’s rights globally – from the UN to the human rights community – to please join in the demand that Hamas release every single woman hostage immediately,” Gadot posted to Instagram.
Some comments online have also referred to antisemitic conspiracy theories relating to Jewish control of the media. “How does Gal Gadot keep getting roles,” one social media user asked, in a post viewed by almost three million people. “There are a lot of Jews working in Hollywood. Most of whom are wealthy purebred American zionist Jews”.
The film, which also stars Rachel Zegler, is slated for release in March 2025.
