A fire has devastated Reubens less than six months after a different blaze destroyed the deli in Marylebone, forcing it to close.

The fire at the kosher restaurant started at 4.56am on Friday and quickly tore through the ground and first floors of the four-story building on Baker Street.

It took 60 firefighters to bring the blaze under control by 7.10am, according to the London Fire Brigade.

Eight fire engines were called to the scene from Paddington, Soho, Euston and surrounding fire stations just before 5am on Friday.
