Business Secretary Sajid Javid will be the keynote speaker at this year’s British Israeli business awards dinner, it has been announced.

Over 250 leading businessmen and women will attend the event in central London next month.

The winners of five awards - British Company of the Year; Israeli Company of the Year; Most Promising Company of the Year; Israel Listed Company of the Year; and Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising those who have strengthened bilateral ties between the two countries - will be revealed at the dinner.

British-Israel trade is currently running at record levels. Total bilateral trade amounted to £3.9 billion in 2014.
