Ever wondered how your friends got the best tickets for must-see West End shows? Chances are they're on Tina Rabin and Suzanne Goodman's list.

Ms Rabin (pictured on the right) and Ms Goodman are the dynamos behind Emunah Entertainment, which gives those in the know the chance to book tickets for a wide range of performances and events - and help Israel's neediest children as well.

Ms Rabin set up the service when she joined Emunah some years ago, with Ms Goodman volunteering later, bringing her expertise in classical music. They sell tickets for plays, musicals and classical concerts, and recently started offering art exhibitions and sporting events - "and our first pop concert," said Ms Goodman, "if you can describe Cliff Richard as pop."

"Our aim is to keep customers coming back," added Ms Rabin, "so we're always honest about where they will be sitting, and we keep our prices reasonable. Customer service is key."

They often arrange something extra for their subscribers like a pre-performance talk, and the 2,000 people on their mailing list move fast to snap up the seats.

"It's something we're passionate about," said Ms Goodman, a former stockbroker who lives in the West End of London and is on the board of management of the Western Central Synagogue in Marble Arch. Ms Rabin, from Hampstead Garden Suburb, is a member of Norrice Lea.

The pair have raised thousands of pounds for Emunah's many projects to help deprived children in Israel, and are currently deliberating over picking a special project which will be supported by the money they raise. "It's wonderful that people can enjoy a night out and know that they are helping the children of Israel," said Ms Rabin.
