The Union of Jewish Students has announced its candidates for its upcoming presidential election, with the results due to be announced at the organisation’s conference on December 11.
The three candidates are: Eran Cohen, an Israeli student from the University of York, Joshua Holt from the University of Nottingham, and Adam Schapira from University College London.
Mr Schapira is the president of the UCLU Jewish society. Mr Holt is currently one the union officers representing the UJS at the Board of Deputies.
The first hustings will take place on November 26, after which the campaigns will officially begin and the candidates' manifestos will be live on the UJS website.
Voting is due to open at 10am on Monday November 28, and will close at noon on Friday December 9.
