The JC has once again picked up an award, this time for its innovative front pages.

Our editions of July 3 and August 4 were judged the best for weekly papers – throughout Europe.

The 11th European Newspaper Awards saw stiff competition from 240 other newspapers from 27 countries.

The awards are intended to foster the exchange of information about the conception and design of newspapers throughout the continent.

The judging panel, which comprised journalists, scientists and designers, were impressed by the “handy format” of many of the winners.

Our winning entries covered Binyamin Netanyahu’s visit to Britain and the questions we canvassed community leaders to put to him and the big question mark over the future of JFS.
