Stacey Solomon has opened up about her six ‘secret’ siblings.

Stacey, who frequently shows the Jewish side of her world on social media, discussed the importance of her brothers and sisters and what they meant to her.

In a post on Instagram, the TV star revealed one of her sisters, Samantha Stone, was a personal trainer as she spoke about her new love for the gym.

She told her followers: “I finally plucked up the courage to ask my biggest sister to help me.

“She is an actual trainer and it may sound silly because she is my sister and I bloody love her but I didn't want to ask her until I had got myself to the point where I felt stronger.

“She has been amazing - I'll get together on my Instagram story to say hi next time she is here."

Chatting to her followers whilst waiting at Stansted Airport, she added of Samantha and her other siblings: "I am now at Stansted Airport and I am lonely because I am on my own.

“Loads of you have been asking 'oh my God, I didn't realise you had another sister, where have you been hiding her'?

"She is actually my step sister but I never call her that. We grew up together. Altogether there's seven of us - one step sister, two step brothers, my brother and sister, and then I have a half-brother.

“I would never call them my steps - that feels weird. We grew up brothers and sisters. You may have seen her before on my story - but years ago.”

The post came as the Loose Woman star travelled to Scotland to film a new series of Sort Your Life Out.

While Stacey and Samantha often refer to each other as sisters, Stacey's Jewish dad David Solomon is actually Samantha's step-dad. David was married to Stacey's mum Fiona and the former couple also share Stacey’s brother Matthew and her sister Jemma.

Afterwards, David then re-married and went on to have another son named Josh.

David has both Ashkenazi and Mizrahi roots and is well known for his work in the Strictly Orthodox community. Fiona was the daughter of a Church of England vicar but converted to Judaism before she married David.

It comes as Stacey discussed the idea of fostering a child with husband Joe Swash, following his BBC documentary looking at England’s crumbling children’s care system.

TV presenter Joe and Stacey already share three children – Rex, four, Rose, one and four-month-old Belle.

Joe also has a son, Harry, 15, from a previous relationship and is stepfather to her sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11.

“When the kids are old enough, we’ll think about fostering,” Joe said. “We love kids and Stacey is on the same page as me.

"She watched my mum’s journey, she’s watched Daniel’s journey. She’s been a massive support.”
