A six-month-old baby has been confirmed as one of the hundreds of people missing after the Hamas terrorist attack in Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel.
The baby, called Ariel, is believed to have been kidnapped along with her three-year-old brother Kfir. Their mother Shiri Silberman-Bibas and her husband Yarden have also been abducted,
It is understood they were taken by Hamas terrorists from their home close to the Gazan border.
The family fled to a safe room when they heard Hamas terrorists trying to break down their front door on Saturday. Yarden – who is presumed dead – texted his relatives: “I love you all”. Half an hour later, he told them “they’re coming in”.

None of the Silberman-Bibas family has been heard from since, but a video has emerged of Shiri and her children. The footage shows her carrying her children as they are taken from their home.
Ariel’s photo was shared at a press conference held on Thursday in London for British relatives of Israeli captives.
At the conference, family members shared their pain that residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz “woke up to a massacre”.
“There is no politics here,” said Noam Sagi, whose elderly mother was abducted. “No context, no religion, no race. Simple humanity”.
