The annual literary lunch in aid of Nightingale care home attracted 150 people. Guest speaker, novelist and former MP Jeffrey Archer, told the audience about his writing techniques, his political career and his spell in prison where he said he wrote “a million words by hand in one year”. The event, now in its tenth year, raised £63,000 for the South London care home
