A Manchester crowd raises £800K for UJIA

Manchester UJIA raised £800,000 at its annual northern region dinner at the Hilton Hotel. The 350-strong audience were addressed by ambassador Dan Gillerman, Israel’s former representative to the UN. At the event the inaugural Lord Steinberg award for services to Israel and the Jewish People was presented to Colonel Richard Kemp who has publicly spoken out against allegations that Israel committed war crimes in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead
