A Glasgow crowd raises £81K for UJIA projects

Award-winning scientist and TV presenter Lord Winston spoke about the influence of Judaism on his life and career at the UJIA Scotland annual dinner this week. More than 250 guests from across the Glasgow community came to the sell-out event at the Giffnock and Newlands Synagogue's banqueting suite raising £81,000 towards UJIA's programmes for young people and education in the UK and northern Israel.
