Severine Berman launches a babyware line with Myleene Klass

articlemain

Showbiz agent Severine Berman has spent the past few years managing well-known personalities, including pop star Jamelia and new GMTV presenter Emma Crosby.

But she is now earning celebrity status for herself.

Miss Berman, 34 (right), the co-director of showbiz guru Jonathan Shalit’s Shalit Global company, has teamed up with one of her clients, model and TV presenter Myleene Klass, to help launch a new baby range for Mothercare.

The Baby K collection — an assortment of baby clothes and accessories — will be available in stores from next month.

“The whole thing has been amazing,” Miss Berman tells People.
“I don’t really know anything about retail but I am a shopaholic. Myleene and I went to New York for research. It’s not like anything I’ve ever done before.”

She adds: “Myleene is a delight to work with. She has a 17-month-old daughter, who comes everywhere with us.”

Miss Berman joined the Shalit Global entertainment and management agency three years ago. She now leads the team together with Mr Shalit.

She had previously been employed at a music management company, where she worked with British boy-band Damage.

Home is in Swiss Cottage, north London.
