Scary plot won't faze star

The production comes with a warning that it is not suitable for children, but the plot has not fazed the 11-year-old who is starring in a London adaptation of the Turn of the Screw.

Saul Friend, a pupil at University College School, can be seen at The King's Head Theatre in Islington as Miles in Benjamin Britten's operatic version of Henry James' ghost story.

He made his screen debut when he was just six-years-old in the National Geographic documentary, Inside The Living Body.

Saul didn't find the Turn of the Screw particularly frightening. "It's not scary," he said. "But then I'm in it so I don't see that side."
