Rosanna Arquette has said she is considering launching a legal case against disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, saying refusing the disgraced film producer's sexual advances negatively impacted on her career.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Ms Arquette – whose mother is Jewish – said: “I’m the only woman so far who has not sued yet, everybody has pretty much come forward with a lawsuit. I’ve not done that yet.

“There may be a point but right now for me it’s really important that the women who have been raped get there justice.”

Asked if she believed her career would be different if she had not rebuffed Mr Weinstein, who is also Jewish, Arquette said: “I think what happens when women reject Harvey Weinstein, there was a price to pay for that. And so many of us, it’s not just me.”

But she added “that is hard to prove.”

Ms Arquette is currently involved in a new documentary about the scandal called Untouchable: The Rise And Fall Of Harvey Weinstein, which sees many of his accusers speak out about the alleged abuse they suffered.

She also plans to attend the trial of Mr Weinstein in January to support actress Annabella Sciorra, who will be testifying against the producer.
