Could Rita Simons follow Stacey Solomon as a winner of ITV’s contest, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!?

The former Eastenders star, 41 — who is the niece of Lord Sugar — has landed in Australia ahead of her ordeal in the jungle. The new series, in which contestants will grapple with rats and snakes and eat horrible buggy bites, begins on Sunday.

She told the Radio Times she expected to provide a shoulder for campmates to cry on. “I do think I am an easy person to live with,” she said. “I like making people laugh and smile.”
