Israeli President Isaac Herzog is expected to represent the country at the state funeral of the Queen on Monday week.
Ynet quoted Israel's Ambassador to the UK Tzipi Hotovely as saying that the president would "definitely come" to London for the funeral.
But Israel's Prime Minister Yossi Lapid - who is due in New York on Tuesday week for the United Nations General Assembly - is not expected to attend, according to Israeli media sources.
Yesterday, Mr Herzog - whose late father, former Israeli president Chaim Herzog was born in Belfast - signed a book of condolence at the residence of the British Ambassador in Israel,.
Describing the Queen's reign as "momentous and historic," he wrote: "She was an icon of stability and a beacon of morality in the service of her people. May G-d bless King Charles III and may he reign in peace."
He quoted a verse from the Book of Proverbs, "The king by justice establishes the land."
On Thursday night, shortly after the announcement of the Queen's death, Tel Aviv City Hall was lit in the colours of the Union Jack as a mark of tribute.
The city's Mayor, Ron Huldai, tweeted: "Great sorrow fell on Britain with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, one of the most important and influential leaders the world has ever known. Tonight we all share in the sorrow of the United Kingdom."
