A pregnant Jewish woman was reportedly blocked from getting off a bus in Stamford Hill by an alleged “serial racist”, being warned: “Don’t get off the bus f**king Jew.”

Shomrim neighbourhood watch volunteers said the harasser was a repeat offender.

The victim was reportedly left traumatised by the incident, which took place on a 253 bus at 15:15 on February 16.

The shocking incident is the latest in a wave of hate attacks against Jews in Stamford Hill.

Two strictly Orthodox men had to be treated in hospital after being punched to the ground on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day – an assault that was caught on camera in chilling CCTV footage.

In the same week, another Charedi man was assaulted, an Orthodox boy was spat at, and a mob screamed at shul-goers: “Yiddos go home.”

At the time, Rabbi Herschel Gluck, president of Stamford Hill Shomrim, said that in most cases, the police response was either too slow or non-existent.

He added: “The police don’t feel motivated to take these cases seriously.”

Anyone with more information should contact the police on 101 or Stamford Hill Shomrim on 0300 999 0123, quoting reference number CAD9609 16/02/22.
